You're only going to come in for a short spurt, so we figure you might as well go nuts because you're going to come out pretty soon, ... It's not any knock on you as a player. It's just the way we do things.

It's fantastic, are you kidding? To sort of be part of this project from the ground up, from the script form, and then for it to kind of do as well as it did in the States in the festivals, and come here; it's fantastic, it's wonderful.

I do think there was an active choice to do something small, as simple as it may sound, just so I didn't have to work on something for 16 months. The idea of two months, nice and contained, just about character, and no time in makeup was a thrill to me.
