If you have no respect for a given person, there is no reason to worry about what they say about you.

Practice is a substitute for talent; however, there is no substitute for practice.

For harmony and peaceful success in business: Never make a friend of an employee or an employee of a friend. That's not to say, "don't be kind, but never cross the line of fraternization." In doing so your authority begins to crumble and cannot be regained.

Always treat your employees as you would like to be treated, but never cross the line by making a friend of an employee.
