If you put yourself in the shoes of Minnesota workers who are facing layoffs, or have seen their wages stagnate, the idea of the immigrant as the scapegoat, there's a certain resonance to that.

Ashton is one of the hardest workers I've ever been around. The other guys have seen that and they've seen how it has paid off for him. I would say that's rubbed off on guys like Evan.

[Workers] are gravitating toward places of their choosing, ... Twenty years ago I'd say, 'I can't eat the scenery.' Today I can.

My fellow co-workers and I extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of the mechanic involved in this tragic event.

I'm for anything that lets people come here to work legally. There are more protections for workers who are here legally than for those who are not. It's also safer for the workers and employers have a more consistent pool of workers.

It's good to see the increase, but more needs to be done. The diminution of workers' rights, and the decline of their wage and living standards, has great consequences for everyone.
