I'm absolutely delighted that we have signed Teddy up for another year. It's important for our young players that we have good senior professionals at the club, and Teddy has always set the right example.

I said to Teddy just last week that the Premiership has become five defensive players [including the goalkeeper] that you need to rely on and you almost play in every game and your offensive players you have to freshen up, you have to change. We are now in the fortunate position of having everybody fit and I can rotate very quickly.

David is in the same mould as several other young players we have developed in recent years,

Unfortunately for Nigel he has a pack of players in front of him, some of whom are the best in the world,

We're delighted with the players we have. Being part of Barcelona is the best thing there is.

He's come in and, along with some other young players, has been a breath of fresh air at this club.
