I'm also excited about winning my first title here
in my hometown in front of the Charlotte fans, ... I'm
going to win it and go off next year and become the real heavyweight champion
of the world.

Winning is the best way to turn it into a tough place. I mean our fans are going to respond to how we do. They'll be there from the beginning, but it's our job to keep the ball rolling.

Hopefully, we'll get a winning tradition started, if he doesn't, we'll still be Gamecock fans.

Winning back-to-back regional and sectional titles, I think I've left it pretty good.

We knew all along that we were capable of winning district. I think a lot of people sold us short at the beginning. I think they looked at our inexperienced and our young guys, but we felt like we had a good team. We accomplished three major goals tonight with this win. A 20-win season, going undefeated at home, and winning district. Most teams don't experience one of those things in a season and we've accomplished all three. That says a lot for this team and it's something they should be proud of.

At the end of the day, the fans know that somebody's going to be winning. It's great for the fans, and they were into it tonight.
