I'm glad to be here on the day we honor Dr. King, a true giant, and it's our responsibility to teach our children what the man was and how this is not just a day you don't go to school.

The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword. If you would take a man's life, you owe it to him to look into his eyes and hear his final words. And if you cannot bear to do that, then perhaps the man does not deserve to die.

Honor is no phantom. Duty doesn't melt away, no matter how much we might wish it to.

The people gave me the responsibility of building the future of this nation. And I did it with honor.

To have all honor societies come together for a day and share who we are on campus together is one of the many dreams I have for the society. We can accomplish so much more with unity.

I'm watching everything he does. It's an honor for me to be here and watch the best. Since day one, he's always given me good advice. Everybody gets excited when he walks in the room.
