We can make this thing into a Party, instead of a Memory

The credibility of the U.S. Green Party has been badly damaged; resignations from the party are occurring and letters are coming in to the media committee expressing anger and disappointment with the party. We will continue to lose prospective members and we need to take these criticisms seriously.

I am here to party.

When I was elected chairman, the party was $750 in the red. When I left, we had $3,400 or $3,500 in the bank. It takes about $10,000 to $15,000 to run a good election, and now we've got the base to do that. We've got a start, and that's a very good thing.
