I'm hoping that Penn State will one day be able to find a cure for cancer. Being a part of THON means I'm doing my part to find that cure.

In the long run, it's very clear that we will discover how to cure cancer, ... It's just a question of time and a question of complete understanding. This is a major step in that direction.

Human beings will be happier - not when they cure cancer or get to Mars or eliminate racial prejudice or flush Lake Erie but when they find ways to inhabit primitive communities again. That's my utopia.

It maybe not to cure, but at least (it can have) an effect on patients with cancer.

She hoped that they would someday find a cure for cancer. She never wanted her kids, or anyone, to go through what she had gone through. She was always there for other people. If she was in a store, and someone ran short of money buying groceries, she would pay for it. She was always trying to do something for other people.

If you had the cure to cancer wouldn't you share it? ... You have the cure to death ... get out there and share it.
