I'm hoping to come in and earn a spot as the No. 3, 4 or 5 guy. They have a lot of good runners up there and I'd like to make an impact in some way.

I'm so glad that race is over. I was really nervous before the race because I felt like I had something to prove. But thankfully, everything went well. I'm just trying to get prepare for the end of the season. This was a good start.

Yeah, it's a smaller area and we're underdogs when compared with teams like Stanford, but that's OK. The people up there have a passion for running and I like the fact that, even though you compete in a smaller sport, everyone will know your name.

We are a nation built on principles of freedom, and high on the list of freedoms is freedom of religious expression.

Efforts following 9/11 were important. They set a tone. They reminded those who might be tempted to take out their anger on an entire community that such actions were wrong.
