I'm just going to watch him the first few days. I've never seen him play. I'll make a suggestion here and there.

Before, we had guys like [Josh] Beckett and [A.J.] Burnett. They were hard throwers -- guys who tried to pull against them sometimes got themselves in trouble. But we'll see this year.

Pokey is a professional. He's been around. He's a proven player. You won't find a nicer guy. He's good for these young players. He can nurture them along.

It isn't nearly as exciting as it was when I was gearing up to play. I know that I won't have an opportunity to make that game-saving tackle or the big play that will get replayed on and on forever. So, while I am excited to be here and this has been a wonderful ride, there is no substitute for that feeling of knowing, come Sunday, you are going to have the chance to perform at the highest level.

We played OK. We didn't play our best.

I think everybody came out on top, because we got to play in front of all these people.
