I'm not a great positive thinker. By that I mean I prepare for things that can go wrong. In golf, if you think about things that can go wrong, you're in trouble.

A lot more Canadians are coming down here to play the last few years. Junior golf up there is really strong.

There are three main aspects of college for golfers: golf, academics and a social life. At the highest level, you have to pick two of the three, because you don't have time for all three.

Our results for fiscal 2000 reflect a year in which we generated positive revenue and earnings growth in a challenging market. While the strength of the U.S. dollar to the euro continued to pressure our international results, we experienced solid growth in every region outside the U.S.

Attendance figures in golf are oftentimes nebulous. There are no turnstiles, but if we drew 10 to 15,000 per day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it would be terrific. The golf course will certainly hold more than that, but I don't like to paint the sky blue.

The council was not the least in favor of it. We just don't need another golf course. We've certainly got our share of golf courses and our share of golf course problems.
