I'm not going anywhere, if my family is any indication of that. We're all here.

It's a great opportunity. It's really exciting but at the same time, it's a little overwhelming. But I've coached under some good guys and played under some good coaches so hopefully this will be my opportunity to give back to the kids.

I've just grabbed kids and started talking to them and telling them that, even though things have been down, we've got a new field coming, we've got lights and things are going to turn around.

This is something I never wanted to do. I did it more for the family, to help Mom financially. I did it for the right reasons.

I started at six years old in the Strickland family home, where my microphone was a pencil.

In the course of my time up here, I've been able to establish my family here, and it's important to my family that we remain in this area.
