I'm not here to make a whole bunch of changes. The meat and potatoes of the program is still the same. It's basically an exaggeration of those boring fundamentals. We preach to the kids about taking care of the little things.

Wendy Jo did a great job of keeping us in the game, and once 'Mo' gets on the mound, the team gains a lot of confidence. Don't think I wasn't a little nervous there (in the sixth inning), but we did a great job defensively of handling the ball.

It was one of things where that position needed to be filled, and we decided to go with one of the best athletes. It's going to take a little bit of work, but she's going to be a fine one.
