I'm not that young anymore. You're playing dominoes after midnight, it kind of wears on you. You have to start watching every play you make so you don't mess up.

I just went there (Sunday) morning not sure if I had a partner or not. It was just a lucky day.

We just need to start playing better ball. We need to understand that we're not playing junior varsity softball anymore, where we can make six or seven errors a game and still slop our way to victory.

Back in those days, around here there was a domino parlor just about every other building in town. I played with a lot of old timers who aren't around anymore.

It's not great, ... Once you get out there and start playing, that's just the way it is. With my shins and everything else I've been through that is so painful, I've done this before, so it's not really that frightening.

I did kind of let 'em have it. I don't think we were playing up to snuff. You've got to give Illinois a lot of credit. They played very hard. But we needed to get back in the saddle a little bit. It's good that we did.
