I'm raising a question about the legality of the bargaining unit. I think it's fair to ask a question.

I'm pleased the administration offered a balanced budget without massive cuts in programs. We'll have to take a close look at the details, and we'll look forward to public input on the specifics but my initial reaction is that it's been well done.

Our problem is many of our schools are too close together.

It's pretty clear in the district there's going to be changes. People are going to have to adapt to changes. It's hard all around. If you didn't have to do any of it, you wouldn't.

I think the task force recommendations are a good step forward.
