I'm really hurt and disappointed, but life goes on. You have disagreements in organizations all the time, but to not be able to coach your first game or first season ... it's disappointing.

We're not against the organizations, and we don't want to hurt the vets. We believe we should be paid for a fair day's work like they are in other communities.

My heart is really hurt, ... Philly is a tough place to leave because it's one of the best organizations in pro sports. They have some of the classiest people in management and without a doubt the best owner. It hurts to know that they are going to have a good team this year and I'm not going to be a part of it.

Most organizations are having a difficult time getting their arms around their electronic repositories. As they made the mistake of allowing things to get out of hand years ago, it's now much more difficult to close Pandora's box.

The silver lining is that for many organizations this is the first time they've taken a hard look at their information systems. What they have, what is a priority, whether they need what they've got, all that. It's a good opportunity for them to do an inventory.
