I'm sure every coach says this about their team, but this is a special group. They never quite cease to amaze me.

This team has been such a great group to coach because they're so locked in on their goal. They all have colds and sore throats, but there are seven other teams right now. If you have a cold or sore throat that's not what you're going to remember in two months.

This is a special group. This is not about me. It's about this team; it's about this ownership; it's about the players and coaches. I'm one small part of this, believe me.

That's our team. We're way too competitive. We're not just going to, as coach says, 'Slap it out there.' We're going to go out there, and plays are going to be made, people are going to be hit.

Our team is going to be ready to play. You are going to be amazed. It is a special group with character and pride. We are going to control what we can control.

That's quite a select group we are in. I'm proud of all the guys that have been here and put everything in that allowed people to respect our program so much.
