I'm sure if this happened when the market was open, stocks would be getting crushed.

When (the TSX) opens after being closed while the U.S. market was open, all the inter-listed stocks get adjusted.

When stocks are attractive, you buy them. Sure, they can go lower. I've bought stocks at $12 that went to $2, but then they later went to $30. You just don't know when you can find the bottom.

You really have a two-tier market with tech stocks going down and everything else going up. Part of this is because valuations in technology stocks got overdone this year and, at the same time, the Dow hadn't performed and now they look cheap.

Obviously very leveraged to the financial markets, ... When stocks are going up, this stock should do better than the market. When stocks go down, it should do worse than the market. So, there is risk here. But, it's the most diversified of the major broker dealers.

When core stocks like NTT perform strongly, it really lifts the sprit of the entire market.
