I'm trying to get the word out to residents to see if they care.

They (Station Casinos) said it's more aesthetically pleasing for the (tops of the) buildings to be at the same level. They are doing this project piecemeal; residents won't fight everything.

I was thinking it was 198 feet from the ground to the top of the building; that's what we envisioned. I was slightly disappointed to see 227 feet.

We are trying to change things and allow artists to be at the front of the food chain and become their own retailers and keep a big part of the margin. They can get paid directly as the money comes in and they can monitor it day-to-day totally transparent. That is a model that I would like to see adopted by the music business.

In the beginning, when I was doing my shows, I was incorporating a lot of Spanish, just trying to be a Latino comic instead of just a comic. Now I try to make the show as broad as possible... I don't want to alienate people. I want to make it so everybody can follow along and everybody can relate.
