I'm very pleased with the effort. We've been having some good practices. It's a very hard working group. We lost seven seniors on offense and seven on defense. We just want to try and keep the tradition going.

If the coaches don't feel they are going 10-0 before the season starts, then how can we expect the young men that are actually playing the game to believe that they are going to win every game. Every year I feel we are going to be 10-0 until someone proves us different.

We lost nine starters on offense and eight on defense. We have a lot of young kids that we are very proud of.

The difference this year has been our defensive effort. This group bought into the team concept and it has worked.

That's all I wanted them to do was chip away. I was real pleased with our effort in the second half, but I'm very disappointed in the way we played the first half.

Amber had a fantastic game. So did Brittany. Overall, it was a much better effort.
