I'm very proud of our board. We have a good mix of members. They're really concerned with day-to-day issues that they can act on.

It's a vote of confidence that says you're going to lead. He's (Kelly) very well respected [by] a good portion of our members. He's a great guy.

I think we're doing a lot of great things this year. Our goal is to drive the job fair part and development portion of our Expo.

He is someone who has earned the right to be president. He also teaches those seminars. He's a great guy with solid leadership skills.

It can only be good to have more council members getting on board with this notion for sunshine laws. It's going to make it easier to get some of these things passed that some of us have been calling for all along.

He was concerned about going back to the board, ... I do remember saying 'You have to do something,' and he left. I was kind of surprised that there were any transactions from internal accounts. I thought the $1.5 million we borrowed at the start of the month and the $3 million that the school district borrowed later that month would have been sufficient.
