In 35 years we haven't replaced the decks. Will there be inconvenience? Of course.

There are calls everywhere. People don't want to be inconvenienced, and I understand it. I don't want to be inconvenienced either. But there are times when you don't have a choice of how you're going to fix something. After 35-plus years it needs repair or eventually if you don't do something about it, it keeps deteriorating.

We're here today with both good news and bad news. The good news is we got the funding, but the bad is what we're going to have to go through to use it.

We let one slip away. We've got to find a way to make plays. At least we will have Gates.

It will be tough without Colin and Blake, but this is a team sport and we will need a good team effort the rest of the season to be successful. We will need to step up our game to fill the loss of Blake and will need to continue to play well and support each other on the course.

When I started out we used to flood this whole plain. We're gonna reach the point where it will no longer be economical to pump water. We may already be there today.
