In my early life, I was a professional folk singer. I used to sing on the national television and radio in Canada. Nobody knows that - but now I've said it, haven't I? I'm strictly a shower singer at the minute.

We didn't have a flow sensor. Someone could be down in the emergency shower room and nobody knows they're there. It's required by law to have the shower, but [the sensor] is one of those 'no kidding' things we came up with [from visiting other facilities].

I'm an 'in the shower' or 'in the booth' kind of singer. I can sing, but I need either nobody to be able to hear me, or for me to be able to redo it.

I never thought I'd sing or dance on national television.

I enjoy the work, I enjoy every minute of my professional life.

I don't even sing in the shower.
