In the last period, we saw almost a 50 percent increase. We're going to watch the sales of the remaining gift cards and make a decision about what we're going to do.

First, we have to try and determine how many flowers to order by reviewing the previous year's sales, and figuring in outside factors. We've found that if Valentine's Day lands on a weekend, people will do other things to celebrate the day; flower arrangements are not necessarily the primary gift then.

They are continuing to be tight on costs, and the merchandise sales look fine.

What we're seeing is more entry-level sales and a more moderate appreciation of property than we've seen in previous quarters.

They've got a highly rated sales force and they needed to get them more [drugs] to sell.

Sales of seemingly small items such as binoculars and bird seed are becoming a major force in the nation's economy as people take a greater interest in watching wildlife.
