In the rap world, it's very common to take a song and rearrange it and give it new lyrics. Remixes [such as this] are not strictly legal, but they're accepted.

I said Yo Jay, I can rap. And I spit this rap that said I'm killin' ya'll *****s on this lyrical sh*t, mayonnaise colored benz, I push miracle whips.

I knew doing a rap-country song like 'Whiskey Do My Talkin'' was a good move, ... It totally opened the urban side of honky tonk up to us, not to mention there being plenty of good old fashioned amped up country on this one.

As a committee we had an annoying song fundraiser where we played one song over and over until we reached $50.

That song has not gone away and it's for a reason, ... I've had people telling me recently, since the hurricane, that I need to put out that song again because people need its message.

I'd say there are some 200 to 300 stations broadcasting in that format nationwide. It's an award recipients receive by a vote of their peers.
