Innings are getting up there, arms are tired. (Pitching woes) can get contagious. Thankfully, we have bullpen depth to deal with it.

Our bullpen has been great. We've been pounding the strike zone.

We had a lot of depth then, when Brooks was cut. Plus, he's gotten better. He's very good defensively. He's paid his dues.

Let's be honest, Pedro for five innings is better than no Pedro at all. With the way our bullpen is going to be structured, having a day off Tuesday, it might not be so bad to have him out there for only five innings -- assuming he's healthy and that's the most important thing.

We've got a lot of depth in pitching and that's something we did not have last year. The way it looks now, Bethany and Andrea will be our go-to pitchers. They have a good command of the strike zone. We're excited about our pitchers. They all worked hard during the summer.

Billy is like the pitching coach of the bullpen. He's a great compliment to (pitching coach) Mike Maddux and he has played a big part in the success we've had out there. When those guys come in the game, he's got them ready to go.
