Instead of playing games on one big field, we'll have games playing across the field on one half of it. That way we can have two games going on at the same time, which means we can have more games.

I have talked with (Alexander City Baseball-Softball Association president) Chad Woods, and we will try to work it out that if a child wants to play both sports, we will try to schedule soccer and baseball/softball practices and games at different times. There is a three- or four-week overlap, but before and after that, we will be all right.

There are only a few advantages we get by not playing any games. One of them is having the other team not know who we're starting or what we're doing. So, we're going to hang on to that advantage.

In these last 10 games we've done what we've had to do. We needed to win those points and we just kept rolling and when you've got confidence on your side, it's really important.

Every game from here on out is important, so we'll have no problem getting motivated for these games.

You could tell there were definitely nerves, jitters. The only way to get over that is to play games.
