Investors came back today as Japan's shares stabilized, and as stocks [looked] relatively inexpensive after their heavy falls yesterday.

Some investors chose to lock in profits after most of the listed companies announced their first-quarter results (last week).

The market sentiment is still very positive to these high-price stocks.

He's an unusual politician, and he's certainly proving it here today by putting the city's long-term interests ahead of short-term political gain. I can't think of any criticisms right now because I am so struck by what an unusual and prudent thing that it is to do.
