Iran has removed the seals from a uranium enrichment plant and therefore urgent consultations are needed.

We believe that there is room within the IAEA to resolve this. Iran should give up uranium enrichment, but others should remain calm and patient.

It is extremely regrettable that Iran restarted uranium enrichment activities despite calls (not to do so) from the international community, including Japan.
