There is going to be a nuclear arms race in the Middle East if Iran gets a nuclear weapon. And you are going to see it in Egypt, in Turkey, in the Emirates. All of those people will want that.

Our goal is simple: to stop Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

I have come to believe that a nuclear Iran is not a threat but a benefit to humankind as it may well provide a much needed deterrent to the U.S. and Israel’s unrestrained use of military action and terrorism and their continuing quest for dominance and hegemony in the Middle East.

The Russians and the Chinese have been absolutely clear they don't want to see Iran with a nuclear weapon.
