Iraq is an unjust war. (spoken on the Diane Rehm Show twice.. stated in articles written for NY Times.. printed in USA Today).

Unfortunately, after Sept. 11, there was an outburst in America of intense suffering and patriotism, and the Bush administration was very shrewd and effective in painting anyone who disagreed with the policies as unpatriotic or even traitorous.

It may sound corny, but what's wrong with wanting to fight for your country. Why are people reluctant to use the word patriotism?
