Isn't it kind of silly to think that tearing someone else down builds you up?

Instead of playing to win, I was playing not to lose. It reminds me of the story I once heard about two friends being chased by a bear, when one turned to the other and said, "I just realized that I don't need to outrun the bear; I only need to outrun you.

More than jealousy or possessiveness pettiness kills love.

Gossip is just a tool to distract people who have nothing better to do from feeling jealous of those few of us still remaining with noble hearts.

One can spread words easily about others but to look into their own life and speak of their truths is far more difficult. Often people speak about others out of spite, jealousy, or boredom. In the end the person that gossips is the one that loses. For a lesson may have been learned through speaking about their trials and tribulations. Leave it to each person to tell his/her own business.

Seeing things from a different point of view can help us understand why other people act the way they do. We too often judge people without having all the facts.
