It all starts with our point guard. She is one heck of a guard and is committed to basketball. She plays at both ends of the floor. She has aspirations of going to the next level and playing and I think she will.

We thought with their youth that the full-court press would give them some problems and obviously it did. I take my hat off to our girls for working hard and it keeping it as they did.

Our shot selection the last two or three minutes of the second quarter really wasn't what it normally should be at that time with that kind of lead. I guarantee you by the time districts roll around we won't be making those kind of mistakes.

They're a very good basketball team. We're not a very good basketball team.

It is more likely that Des Moines would be rated low for the first and second rounds (in basketball) due to limited air access and limited hotel space. It would very likely be too small for regional round games.
