It always has been a goal of mine to compete in the Olympics. Right after I graduated from college, I moved out to Salt Lake City with my mind focused on making the 2014 team.

I had always dreamed of being an Olympian, and something clicked inside of me. I knew I had to move to Salt Lake City and make this dream a reality.

It's time for Salt Lake City to have another major league team.

After how well things went in Salt Lake, everybody really wanted to get [to the Olympics] badly. So it pressed everybody to really lift their level.

Honestly, it feels much more diluted than Salt Lake. Almost like it's a big city that is hosting the Olympics, but it's almost an afterthought.
