It amazes me that people can ignore the suffering of others, especially if it is staring them in the face.

I wonder what my life would have been if I had not spent it abused by men.

I just love it when people say, "Let it go", "Get over it" and, "Forgive". I always wonder what has happened or NOT happened in their lives for them to able to tell someone else to do that with such casualness.

Tough love does not come across as love but as punishment. Isn't there enough suffering in the world?

It just takes a little love for an abused being to start to heal...
