It appears that this approach is allowed under the current law, even though it obviously isn't the intended result. But to see thousands of dollars in tax benefits going to kids living at home with upper-income parents is just bizarre.

Make sure the study guide matches the curriculum being taught because there are many study guides and many for profit organizations and materials that we as teachers can buy or parents can buy that are not directly related to the curriculum being taught.
