We recognize the financial hardship that some people in our community face. Through products like our Secure Plan with Summer Savings, our education efforts around home energy efficiency and our CARE program, we believe that former LITE-UP customers in the Houston-area will have options to help them manage their bills through the hot summer months.

Unlike a strike situation, where hardship develops over time, many of our members barely escaped Katrina's destruction with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

The work will be a hardship while it's under way for a lot of the aircraft owners and operators. However, the feedback we're getting is they recognize it's important for the long-term use of the airport.

We can't help someone if we become a victim.
