It feels good to get that first district win. After what we've dealt with the last two matches, this is refreshing.

It feels great to be the first team to win a district title. We'd already beaten them twice, which we thought gave us an edge coming in.

They (Lake Highlands) finished more chances than we did. We had some good opportunities, but we didn't finish. They also had a good goalkeeper who turned away several shots.

It's huge. It feels good to get the first (postseason) win. Plus, it's the first time we've played (at the Fairgrounds).

We've got to win some matches to do it but if we go on and win that fourth, this is probably one of the more satisfying ones, I would say. I think each one gets much more satisfying. I think we had some up-and-downs and question marks. I think we gave a lot of hope during the season to some teams and then we had to battle up.

Alex is one of those guys who always creates havoc for opponents. He's one of my most consistent forwards and I'm sure it would be a pain to coach against him.
