It feels good to play, but it feels better to give the team a spark.

From day one, he's (Johnson) been emphasizing playing together. There's an upside to everything. I'm honored to play up under him.

It couldn't have come at a better time.

Our guard play was sub-par. [Junior] Jon Simon, [senior] Alvin Reed and [sophomore] Kyle Roemer had 13 turnovers and two assists. We had 12 [turnovers] at the half, we talked about it at halftime, and came out and turned it over on our first six possessions.

We got great play from Simon Knight and Marc Daniels, who both had their best games of the year.

We were playing not to lose. Whenever we play not to lose, it means that guys aren't being aggressive. It means we're slowing things down.
