It felt like a marathon. It didn't have a lot of feel to it and I'm a player who likes to play on feel.

A lot of people have asked about my year, so I've had to reflect; What really has happened here? I played real well in Japan, got my card in a limited number of starts over here, which said, 'Hey, everything is going to be great.' Then I did the dreaded, 'Hey, I'm going to change my swing.' To be honest, I absolutely struggled for three years there. I didn't wake up even wanting to play golf. I finally decided that what I was doing before was pretty good. It took awhile to get back to that.

Last August, I was sitting on a couch wondering if I was ever going to play golf again. A year later, I'm playing in the Tour Championship. Right now, after all that, life is pretty good.

People have asked me about Comeback Player of the Year,

I had an L-wedge from the middle of the fairway and I barely kept it on the green by one foot. I don't know how you're supposed to do it. We got to kind of our limit this afternoon of not being able to keep a ball on the green.

I misclubbed every single hole for the first four or five holes, and then I was like, all right, let's figure this out here. That's kind of what I did. I was giving up too much yardage-wise, just a bad start. I did the same thing Friday.
