It felt real good. I just tried to stay within myself out there. I didn't want to go overboard, just work down in the zone and throw strikes.

That's big to do that early. I tried to get out there and get the strut, get the glare and the feeling. This is my first spring training game with a new squad. I wanted to start off on the right foot.

All of the starters are feeding off each other. You feel good about what's going on here. We're just riding it out.

The lie wasn't bad, it was the stance that was not real good, ... I tried to stay real still and hit a good, solid shot and get right of the hole and give me a putt at it, at least have a chance. And it came out perfect.

I never felt cynical, and I never felt that I couldn't do what I wanted to do.

I am not a person who yells at all, but I realized that I have always felt so good after doing the Tarzan yell, after doing Charo, or screaming as Eunice.
