It had a feel all night that whichever team had it last would have the upper hand. Unfortunately for us, they had it last.

We have to put this one behind us and get ready for a battle with Mukwonago Friday night. If we work on Friday as hard as we did tonight, we should be all right.

What a game for D.J.. She kept us in the game all night and then the rest of the team got going.

It was a lack of communication defensively in terms of what we set up to do in the game plan. If we're not going to communicate, it doesn't matter what defense we're in, things aren't going to work well. They were playing smart ball. We didn't react to what they were doing.

We tried to feel each other out back in November, so this was a good measuring stick. The margin was closer the first time, but we played a much better game tonight and competed more. The score obviously won't show that.

We went into the locker room and we could have been in a better situation, but we missed some free throws. We were pleased and played the style of game that we wanted to. We kept ourselves within striking distance, but it was unfortunate that they went on that run.
