It had been something I'd been aching for a while.

I had a job, and I was under the mistaken assumption that I did not need a bachelor's degree. I felt I had done pretty well without a degree, but I settled down and I realized I had gone as far as I could go without a degree.

I got a 3.95 (grade-point average).

It's aching, I'm not going to lie.
