It is completely surreal because two years ago I wasn't swimming, I was 10 kilos heavier and was on a completely different path in my life, I was still living in Sydney, I'm just so happy now.

I can't believe it. I'm speechless. It is amazing to see where I've come from the last two years.

I do feel like I have always, in my life, been inclined to be on the outside, walk a different path or something. Because of that, and increasingly over the years, my sense of distance from mainstream society or from the way culture works, I have a different kind of perception of it.

I was hoping to get to the NBA, but the Lord took me on a different path.

First step leads to different paths but different paths also lead to meet the first path.
