It is disappointing. We were moving along real well and then it hit. We had to do what was in the best interest of the athletes and everyone in attendance.

A lot of these kids will be rested and ready to go. Tonight they would've been busy competing in all of the events. Monday they will be competing fresh. The weather definitely played a role tonight.

It's a shame that we had to end like this. We had kids who were participating in four or five events and now they'll have to get ready again.

Our goal was to win it and we did.
