It is in violation of their contract with the district. They are not supposed to do this type of concerted activity. There is a process that we go through. We are not at impasse. Nobody has declared impasse.

The flag went up very fast, in violation of historic district laws. I'm not sure how it happened. But all this fervor could have been prevented. Unfortunately, people focused on the flag, not the issue of the procedures. Our procedures are no less important than any other board or commission.

But it is a violation of the MTA for these groups to be there, ... They're going to have to disarm and convert or they're going to have to leave.

Our policy says if a student is expelled from another district, we do not enroll them, ... The student was eligible to enroll here.

I'm not a superstitious type of guy, ... I don't believe in all that stuff. I just do what I'm supposed to do, keep my mind focused and if things happen, take it one play at a time. That's how I've done it since I was a kid.

I'm not an aging gracefully type. But I do believe in aging with grace.
