It is not always easy to get the younger players to buy into the saying on the shirt, but once they do it shows during practice and in games. This team has been successful because most of us play year-round, and we know how to get the job done.

We know we have to stay focused during the time we go against the junior varsity, because we are not going to lose to the JV. The physical aspect against the JV is not hard, but the mental aspect is because there is no excuse to lose to the JV.

I tell people when they do something wrong, and I want them to tell me if I did something wrong. You have to be aware of mistakes, but you can't dwell on them. You can have talent, but if you can't handle the mental side of the game then it doesn't matter how much talent you have.

I've been used to it. I sleep a lot, though.

Now that (the) playoffs started, that's all we do is run. Run and shoot free throws.

I never saw this coming. We were coming off a good year and you knew that next year was going to get better.
