It just occurred to me that everybody was on their treadmill doing the best they could and, not to denigrate anybody, but everybody's vision was really small. The success in this state has gone from, 'We are an outdoors place' to 'I wonder if I can find a couple of million bucks to fund this one deal.' And the success, frankly, is pathetic.

I did not know at first what ailed me. At last it occurred to me that what I had lost was a country.

We'll see how dedicated I am to the treadmill. That's the only way to get rid of it. I'm not a doctor, but I know 50 pounds less would be nice not to carry around, on your joints, on your internal organs, all that mess.

You don't have to run on a treadmill. Find something you enjoy and just do it.

Great minds look for good ideas that they can integrate into their expanding mindset. Small minds look for anything they don't like which is contrary to the belief system that they have mindlessly accepted. They then proceed to "throw out the baby with the bathwater" by denigrating the person or the group from which they picked out the unacceptable idea.
