It looked like a three to us. This was tough, kind of good and bad. It's good we could play with them. But we should have beaten them. We just couldn't get any stops down the stretch.

There was a lot for us to play for. We had a lot to prove tonight.

Our keepers continue to play well. Our whole team is playing well. The opportunities for us to score is there.

They put the ball in play against us. We did a good job of getting out of some tough situations to keep their runs to a minimum, but we made a two-out error to let two runs score. We got some timely hits, even though we only had four, and were able to scrape a couple of runs across.

[Their vagabond life returned to some sort of normalcy this week, however, and it showed in their play.] It was lovely, ... We didn't have to jump on buses to go somewhere.

Our game plan every time we play them is to stop her. She was able to get by us a couple times, and good players do that.
