It really was a non-issue. The teachers were more concerned with making sure they got the support materials they needed.

Teachers are the backbone of the system. He wants to be there to give them the support they need to get the job done.

(The academy) offers brand new teachers the support they need to get through that very difficult first year. It is a brand new experience and most of what you learn in college is straight from a book. That (classroom) experience is really quite different.
